This plant is a part of the cabbage family and when young, they are in fact edible, but the taste can be very strong. Ornamental Brassica plants add a pop of colour to your garden and can be potted en masse to create a statement urn or planter which can look rather classy!
CARE FOR YOUR ORNAMENTAL BRASSICA:
These plants are most often planted outdoors but can be kept inside in a cool place, such as a porch or conservatory during the winter months - just make sure they don't get cold enough to form a frost. Once spring comes around, you can plant them outside in a good sunny spot, either straight into the ground or in a raised bed.
Make sure they don't get waterlogged as this will cause them to rot.
